Some followers suggested this to me.
The island known as the “island of madness”, “hell” and “the most haunted place on Earth” is being sold!
Here’s a quick, history behind it:
The plagued people were shipped off to Poveglia Island, a small, secluded land mass that floats between Venice and Lido. There, people lived out the last of their wretched lives together until they died.
Since the island already reeked of death, the next time an epidemic came along, barely alive bodies were dumped there and burned in mass graves.
In the 20s, a mental hospital was built to welcome the island’s newest “guests,” or anybody that showed symptoms of any sort of sickness, physical or mental.
Basically, if you had an itch, away you went to Poveglia where you’d sink your feet into the soil (half dirt, half human ash) and be in the company of over 100K diseased ghosts.
It didn’t help when the place was converted into a hospital for the mentally ill in 1922. Rumor has it, the hospital was home to a number of crude lobotomies, performed by a doctor who’d been driven mad by the ghosts. He later flung himself off the bell tower.
The Italian government is now offering a 99-year lease to whomever’s brave enough to take it over. The italian government thinks it would make a great hotel destination!

"Build a hotel" they said. "It will be fun" they said.

*shrugs* The updated canon suggests that females were warriors just as much as the men were, only some women (and probably some men) weren't cut out for it in the long haul, like Goku's mother, Gine. It just seems super sexist to say "there weren't any" on presumption... from betaruga

stupidoomdoodles:

isn’t it rather the author who is portraying a sexist society by not giving us any canon female saiyan warrior and portraying gine, the only woman with any sort of background we have, as “not cut out for fighting” ? i’d be MORE than super happy to see female saiyans kick some ass, as canon suggests, but we just don’t get an official one so far. not saying they don’t exist, but definitely saying they’re not shown at all and it’s a pain in the ass.

Well there was Celipa from Bardock’s team. Though we haven’t really seen her battle either…
And in Dragonball Heroes we get Note…

Do you ever hear your name being called? But it isn’t anyone around you nor could it have been your imagination, because the voice you heard it in was definitly not the usual voice inside your head.

A few times yes.
Some times I would hear my parents yelling at me in the other room but when I went and asked them what they wanted they had no clue as to what I was talking about…
Then another time I heard people from my school calling my name out but no one from the school was any where near me…
